Unlike traditional single-microphone RSMs, the XVP830 uses four HDR digital microphones combined with adaptive noise suppression algorithms to identify the user’s voice and reduce surrounding background noise. The XVP830 also supports Motorola IMPRES audio, IP68 protection and TIA-4950 intrinsic safety certification. When paired with compatible APX NEXT radios, the dedicated ViQi button enables voice-command features.
